2025 Keynote Speaker

Kurt Munson

Kurt Munson has over 30 years experience working in interlibrary loan, resource sharing and document delivery. He was awarded the ALA RUSA STARS Virginia Boucher Distinguished ILL Librarian award from ALA in 2018. His leadership in academic, medical and public libraries led to invitations to present at regional, national and international conferences. The Big Ten Academic Alliance white papers he coauthored and actively advanced have led to new ideas for ILL. His ILL platform/system contributions include: Project Reshare (returnables product lead) , OCLC Resource Sharing for Groups (development team member), Tipasa (advisory group member) as well as writing the code for multi-site Alma to ILLiad NCIP integration. He lives in Chicago with his partner in crime and an avocado, named “Cado”, who grew from a pit during Illinois’ Covid lockdown.
